Trans Island Maritime is a marine transportation service in the U.S. Virgin Islands. They wanted their logo to include a propeller, clearly representing the tug and barge business. Additionally the color blue to be dominant since it is an ocean going vessel. I explored different shades of blue to create a sense of movement within the design to further support transportation.
