Fleet Vehicle Graphics

When I started working for Home Solutions of Iowa, they had recently underwent a name change. In the past year it was my job to start working with our installation crews and sales teams rotating vehicles and scheduling to have them rewrapped with new signage. I worked closely with Signarama and FastSigns, local vendors in Des Moines, to get the wraps done in a timely fashion without disrupting our crews schedules. Below is an example of the Quality Control Specialist’s new vehicle redesign.

Social Media

I ran Home Solutions of Iowa’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Google+ and LinkedIn social media outlets. Below is an example of a post I created for some fun on May the 4th. Some of our major gains were through Facebook with the amount of followers increasing by 769, a 68% increase within a year. We also began receiving viable leads from Facebook which was new to the company. Through research I began posting on specific days and times when our demographic was most active on social media.

Rack Cards

With feedback coming from our installation crews that neighbors would approach them while they were installing and ask questions about our products, I came up with multiple rack cards with tracking numbers associated to each crew that they could hand out on site. HSI also offers a referral program, so I created an easy way for our install crews to submit new customers on their phones through a jot form that would be sent directly to our schedulers and get rewarded for taking the time away from installing and talking to a potential new customer. This increased employee involvement and decreased the time-lag in contacting new leads.

Everything from coffee mugs to koozies, phone fans to fanny packs, HSI wanted to be the company with the newest and best giveaways for our employees, customers and events. I was in charge of brainstorming and researching new promotional items and staying up to date with the latest trends.
